2022 Year in Review

12.15.2022Blog

We can hardly believe that 2022 is coming to an end. The National PRAPARE® Team is grateful to have engaged with PRAPARE® users throughout the year in several ways. This year we introduced a monthly blogging series where we explored various topics related to PRAPARE® and the social drivers of health. The blog topics included:

  • spotlights on individuals, organizations, and/or programs that focused health equity efforts to improve the health and well-being of African American/Black communities, Marshallese women, the LGBTQIA+ community, Hispanic/Latinx community, and people with diabetes
  • resources specific for National Minority Health month
  • the use of solar panels in Puerto Rico
  • access to culturally and linguistically appropriate care and resources for individuals with limited English proficiency
  • the importance of mental health
  • terminology related to health equity and social drivers of health
  • climate justice and community health centers

We would like to thank all the individuals who contributed to the blog series, and we celebrate all of your hard work and efforts to advance health equity for structurally marginalized communities across the country.

As we wrap up the year and plan for 2023, we’d like to hear from you. The SDOH Team at NACHC has created this brief survey, so please take a moment to share your thoughts and ideas on how we can leverage future blogs to share the latest updates from the field.

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season that is relaxing and restorative!
